We have extensive experience in all aspects of FPGA design and development. The team is familiar with all FPGA vendor tools and silicon including AMD (Xilinx), Intel (Altera), and Microsemi RAD Tolerant devices. Designs are implemented in VHDL, Verilog or System Verilog. Scripts using shell scripts, Python or TCL are also generated. Matlab can be used where required as well as third-party tools from Mentor Graphics, Aldec and Sigasi. Design verification and validation is implemented using self-testing testbenches often implementing UVM/UVVM.
We have many years experience in the development of high-speed (100Gbps+) interfaces including Interlaken, 12G-SDI video, DisplayPort, HDMI, Ethernet, SATA, PCI, DMA and DDR, as well as lower speed standards and devices including AES3, MADI, SPI, I2C and FLASH etc. Designs have made extensive use of AXI and AXI Stream and other high-speed internal bus architectures, and have often instantiated soft processor cores or employed processors within cores available on complex SoC devices.
