The DVDS is a Digital Video Distribution Splitter for use as a distribution amplifier for 12G/6G/3G/HD/SD-SDI, and DVB-ASI splitter. Offering both standalone and rack mounting formats this high performance unit meets the requirements of DVB-ASI, SD-SDI, HD-SDI, 3G-SDI, 6G-SDI and 12G-SDI. The 19″ 1RU rack mounting units are available from a single channel unit up to 20 channels.

Description:
The DVDS Digital Video Distribution Splitter is used as a distribution amplifier, conveniently splitting a single DVB-ASI, SD-SDI, HD-SDI, 3G-SDI, 6G-SDI or 12G-SDI digital video source into two signals for distribution with maximum signal integrity and quality.
The DVDS Digital Video Distribution Splitter is compatible with all data rates between 100Mb/s and 11.88Gb/s. and will subsequently support all of the SDI, DVB-ASI digital video and MADI digital audio transmission rates up to 12G-SDI. Therefore, these units offer a cost effective alternative to passive splitters which lack quality and performance above 3G-SDI video rates. This is achieved by utilising automatic cable equalisation and re-clocking on the input and further re-clocking on the two outputs.
The DVDS range is available as an in-line standalone compact unit or a range of compact 19″ 1RU rack mounting units with up to 20 channels. Furthermore, the rack units are also equipped with redundant power supply inputs.
